Just doing a proof of concept experiment using garage band on a Mac.

I used a drum package background loop, then added bass guitar using a 1/4” patch/guitar cable to USB direct audio and the effects on garage band, then played the same bass line using an Arturia ‘minifreak’ and garage band (no fun oscillators yet, I just got it and am learning!) and then did the same with a Fender Strat over USB.

I see a ton of fun potential. It’s pretty wild that garage band has so many amp models included with it for guitar direct in! Just a few settings to tweak to get it working, but work it does!
