This tutorial shows you how to download and install ACE. Basically new ACF: Armoured Combat (Framework) Extended is a addon for Garry's Mod that adds realistic weapons, prop damage system and armor, in addition to propulsion like engines and gearboxes.
the types of weapons ranges from big guns like howitzers to medium cannons and machineguns, missiles in all types and shapes suited for vehicles, and some bombs too. ACE incorporates ACF and ACF-missiles plus new additions like more types of ammo and armor in one addon. So basically this is the prop damage system to rule them all!

And no, it won't most likely ever be avalible through steam workshop.

ACE not making damage to other props developer's fix:The issue is because you need a prop protection addon like nadmod, alternatively you could disable the built in damage protection which unlike base ACF I enabled by default to make server moderation a bit easier on the server owners I work with.
