First of all, a lot of fun.
Second of all, almost nothing was scripted. I don't think any of the serendipities that occurred could be replicated.

Except for one part where my dumb boyfriend hit me on Discord. And another part where WinGet decided that this was the perfect time to update Audacity (opening a User Account Control prompt and minimising the whole game).

The flickering textures (particularly on the monitors) are a result of VRMod chuffing the vertex precision. I remember there being an option somewhere in the UI to correct it, but I cannot find it.
Garry's Mod is old. The engine it's built on is significantly older. That this was able to work at all is a testament to the indomitable spirit of the modding and scripting community.
If I wanted Garry's Mod to look good, I'd download a fuckin' shaderpack. You'll get AI Upscaling (courtesy of Lossless Scaling on Steam) and you'll goddamn like it. (Also, because running Garry's Mod in 4K somehow still strains my 4070Ti, my Ryzen 9 5950X, and my 64GB of DDR4 RAM in the best of times.)
