I need to start by thanking Nick Marentes for being gracious enough to not only offer his time in helping me review his game, but giving me a ton of back story and script to go with it, which made for some very entertaining moments in this video!

Gate Crasher is probably the most ambitious game (from a technical standpoint) ever done on the Coco 3. Utilizing a version of the GLOOM engine that John Kowalski (Sock Master) uploaded as a demo (demonstrating a 3-D graphics engine that uses the same algorithms as modern PC games such as Doom or Quake use), and adding an actual game, sound effects and multiple floors, Nick created an action arcade game in the style of Wolfenstein 3D or Doom. The version pictured here is the one level demo version, but the full version features 5 full floors, and a special treat on level 5: the big boss that you must destroy (and I won't give any more away on that). One can order the full version from Nick's own webpage, and he has also just added floor maps for all 5 levels (the first level also applies to the demo).
