Gateways and Crystals - Starbound 1.0 (Unstable) #2: Quick Look - Let's Play
6Today we continue our run through the early game of Starbound where we spelunk to the bottom of the world, which isn't as deep as I remember, and see where we can go next. The progression has certainly changed from before, but I'm happy to dive into the universe of the game a little bit more.
What is Starbound: Call it Chucklefish's labor of love or reason for existing. Either way, Starbound is an exploration game asking you to hop from planet to planet in search of resources to improve your ship and perhaps solve the mysteries of the universe before a galaxy wide day of the tentacle. Starbound is one of my most anticipated games for a very long time (almost as long as I have had this channel!) and with good reason. It mixes exploration, space, quality sandbox gameplay, and very interesting boss fights into a great package. And there's multiplayer!
