Let's Play Starbound 1.0 which has finally dropped on the Unstable branch. There's so much new content that yes, there will be a character wipe. But with it is fulfillment of a game that has been through the trials and tribulations of development. But on July 22nd, it will all be out there: the full game out of beta. I've been waiting for a very long time. In this video we discuss new features introduced in 1.0 as well as begin the game's actual story mode complete with cut scenes and new progression.

What is Starbound: Call it Chucklefish's labor of love or reason for existing. Either way, Starbound is an exploration game asking you to hop from planet to planet in search of resources to improve your ship and perhaps solve the mysteries of the universe before a galaxy wide day of the tentacle. Starbound is one of my most anticipated games for a very long time (almost as long as I have had this channel!) and with good reason. It mixes exploration, space, quality sandbox gameplay, and very interesting boss fights into a great package. And there's multiplayer!
