2This Meteor engine, or the Merlin as its supercharged Spitfire-powering sibling was better known for, produces a good 1200 horsepower and nearly 2000 ft-lbs of torque. Mated to an AWD system on a lengthened subframe with stiff suspension to handle the sheer weight of the tuned tank engine, this Gavril Barstow presents quite the capable package, yet keeping the look of a muscle car. Well, somewhat, as the mud bogging 33 inch tyres certainly give the game away, along with its excessive ride height compared to any regular road vehicle. For stopping from high speeds, its equipped with carbon ceramic race brakes, but this does cost it stopping power in low speed maneuvering, and as such I should've simply used premium brake pad material instead.
