The GM II is the successor to the standard GM that was deployed after the One Year War to replace the Aging GM's however as it was made to be cost effective rather than high performance the suit had fallen off a cliff in terms of power scaling being hopelessly outmatch by just about everything by the next time war broke out.
In GBO2 the GM II is a 300 cost general type that like the original GM has a very simple kit that doesn't really offer anything too special.
in terms of weapons it has it's own GM II Beam Rifle an instent stun weapon with pretty amazing power for an uncharged Beam weapon of it's cost that can instant stun though has a high heat generation and somewhat lacking range, the second weapon option it has is the Hyper Bazooka (Modified) powerful Bazooka type weapon with an impressive range and ammo count but a slightly lengthy wait between shots that originally came with a suit 50 points higher than the GM II making it a potent weapon.
the final weapon the GM II can use was only given to it somewhat recently being the Harpoon Gun, this is by far the best weapon for the GM II as it has a higher power per shot, still stuns on hit, has a shorter wait between shots and even reloads quickly to partly negate the low ammo weakness.
It's Beam Saber is pretty terrible using only the standard one and it's only Sub-weapon is the Head Vulcan (Late Model) that while not bad by vulcan standards isn't a great back up option.
In terms of stats the GM II has rather decent durability though it is a little lacking in melee defence and on the mobility side it's decently quick for the cost with a good base movement speed, boost speed and passable thruster gauge however it's turning is pretty terrible.
for it's skills it has everything you would expect from a general at it's cost alongside helpful utiliy skills such as Personnel Radar LV2 to spot pilots trying to sneak to the base and Frontline Support System LV2 to help allies respawn quicker to keep help keep the frontline strong
Overall the GM II isn't anything too special but it does have the ability to perform well when it's fighting one year war suits.
