GDC, Nintendo Switch a Success, No Man's Sky Updated, and Other Stories - An Old Gamer Rants
1GDC 2017 took place recently, it is a major get together of game developers from around world to attend panels, workshops, and presentations on the latest techniques and technologies for game development. The Nintendo Switch launch has been a bit rocky for Nintendo but at the same time it has been profitable and the new portable console has been selling better than any other Nintendo hardware in history. No Man's Sky gets an update that adds ground vehicles and new base structures but not without introducing a lot of bugs. This is just a sample of the news coming out of the world of video games.
