In this camping gear video, we’re going to be talking about portable fire pits and why we use and carry 2 with us on trips. We have both a pop-up style pit from Fireside Outdoor as well as a circular propane pit. We use these at different times of the year under different circumstances, and sometimes we’ll use both on the same trip. You definitely don’t need a fire pit if you camp in established campgrounds, however in some parts of the country during certain times of the year (like summers in the Pacific Northwest) even established campgrounds may have a burn ban so a propane fire pit could come in handy. #campinggear #camping #firepit #teardroptrailer #gear
