In Gears 5's PVE Coop mode known as Escape 3 players work together to infiltrate and destroy a Swarm hive from Within. Play as one of the hivebusters as they willingly allow a Snatcher to take them into a hive with the intent of escaping the pod and planting a Venom bomb which they must outrun to the landing zone so they can escape without being trapped within the hive along with the Swarm they intend to wipe out. To increase the challenge of each hive players can raise the difficulty, each difficulty adds a new mutator to the mix to make the higher difficulties more interesting. Each hive has it's own set of mutators to ensure that no 2 hives will play out the same. The different difficulties available are as follows: beginner, experienced, advanced, elite, insane, inconceivable and master. It is best to run the higher difficulties as a team but to make the challenge even harder in this video I will Escape alone on the hardest difficulty to ensure the highest difficulty as possible. This map is known as "The Wanderer" and the activated mutators are Invincible Mulcher Scions (Mulcher Scions in this hive are invincible), More Health (Enemies have increased health), More Lethal (Damage to players is increased), Faster Scions (Scions in this hive move faster), Ultra Stopping Power (Enemy bullets have extra stopping power), Ammo Starvation (Less ammo given in pick-ups), Ironman (No respawns allowed! Players who die cannot be revived).
