I had only played Gears 3 not too long ago, and Gears 2 feels like a more well-rounded experience overall. The action is more fluid, there's less clutter, more focus on the gameplay. Too bad the ending is truly terrible, the game just ends after a trivial on rails section that is supposed to be a boss fight, but it doesn't actually pose any threat? Oh well..
