Gears of War 4: Co-Op Part 21 - Giant Robot Showdown With The Hive Boss [End]
1Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of Gears of War 4 co-op with Mermaids. This is the final episode, and in this episode we head towards the rendezvous point and encounter a surprise visit from some old friends. Baird and Cole from the first three games present us with some giant robots to pulverize the swarm and take on a few giant monsters such as swarmaks. In addition to giant guns and a stomp attack, we can use Baird and Cole's helicopter to launch rockets at enemies and barriers. At the end of our robot romp, we come face to face with the hive mind in control of all the locusts. We take out it's tentacles and cauterize the wounds with our air strike. Once we severely piss this thing off, it brings down our helicopter and we are forced to improvise on how to kill it. In our giant robot badassery, we pick up the downed helicopter and use it's propellers like a giant chainsaw. We take out the hive boss and then go in search of Kait's mom. Unfortunately we find her, but she is so inundated with the tentacles of the hive boss, she has no choice but to die. We watch an emotional scene where Kait kills her mom and then presents a mysterious artifact. Unfortunately this is the ending of the game, and it feels very abrupt. However, it is very clear that there is going to be a sequel. Thank you all for watching this playthrough, I know watching split screen may have been difficult but I wouldn't have played it any other way, because there are few games I can play with my fiance, so we have to seize every opportunity.
