Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of Gears of War 4, co-op with Mermaids. In this episode we head into the fog and hear the whooping of the Juvies as we mow them down with our lancers. We head into what appears to be a church, and turn on the lights. What we see is a Juvie that digs into the ground, and creates what appears to be an emergence hole. It comes out as what we have previously known as a grub, in a disgusting metamorphosis. These Juvies, are all grown up now and have learned to use guns. They create a new to this game, but familiar challenge as we fight through the locust horde. We press on and fight yet another new enemy, called a pouncer. These guys are like rabid dog armadillo things that jump on you and shoot quills out of their tails at you. They are annoying to say the least, but deadly if you're not careful. We survive this encounter and enter a dilapidated tram station and have to figure out how to get it running. The tram is a little slow, so my character cuts the counter weight to get where we're going a little faster. We stop the tram and will explore this area next time.
