Welcome to my Inconceivable Mode playthrough. This series will be focused on combat only, with no story. I will also try to cut down on scavenging as I did with my Insae Mode playthrough earlier this year.

I lost 2 hours of gameplay footage. This mostly covered the prologue area. Luckily its not when the game starts getting hard, so its not a huge loss. The point where this video begins is around where I got after my first 2 hours playing again.

I just found out that a new difficulty was added, otherwise I would have gone from my first playthrough on hardcore straight to inconceivable. It wasnt added at the time that I beat Insane. I usually play through a game once and then go straight to the extreme settings, but there has been a FEW exceptions. Such as Doom 2016's Nightmare mode, which I felt I wanted to prepare more for.

So far this is challenging but parts are not taking as long as I did on Insane. So its easier than insane only for the reason that I am familiar with the layout and still remember alot of my tactics on insane. I can also refer back to my videos of my insane playthrough and modify those tactics if need be for the new difficulty mode.

I dont think it will take me that long to beat the mode since I have familiarity with the layout of Insane and may only have to make some slight modifications to my old tactics. There will still be hours of deaths. Insane had some hard shit for sure.

Some of my old tactics like grenade tagging pouncers should save me alot of time overall.

What Ive noticed so far about this mode : You seem to die much faster on the account of enemy accuracy, not neccesarily damage. Meaning enemies seem to home thier shots in on you with extreme precision. They may also focus on shooting you instead of your teammates. Whatever the reason, I noticed I would get killed easily just popping out for a split second to fire some rounds off, when there was ONE enemy in an area. I dont remember Insane being quite that punishing when there was one enemy. It has been some months so I could be off on that. Enemies seem to be even more dangerous now though. I dont think it will be enough of a change to slow me down too much though.
