Gears Of War 5 - Stupid Machine
0This bit in the game nearly made me get a refund it p*ssed me off so much!
I've never had such a stupid thing happen in a Gears of War title, and I've been playing them since the OG came out, which is absolutely f*cking awesome by the way.
Anyway, if a similar thing happens to you, here's how I managed to deal with the issue:
I picked up a bunch of shock grenades that were laying around after an earlier battle, then chucked them at Jack the stupid robot, and when they go off, they make it move away from the safe slightly each time.
Well eventually, those grenades moved the stupid machine enough that it came out of the ridiculous 'glitch zone', or whatever you want to call it, and then when you tell Jack the tin can to hack the safe, FINALLY, it works =/
You have to fight enforcement droids before this bit in the video, but I don't know if they drop shock grenades each time they're destroyed, so if they don't, then there's no way whatsoever to complete this in single player. You HAVE to have a co-op buddy, and unfortunately, all mine were offline.
Don't they test these bloody games anymore or what... pathetic innit!
