It's a very fitting track too, because when I shared this with a friend, they asked if it was about drugs. But just like with any amazing art, it's so wonderfully ambiguous and open to interpretations that it could be about many things.
You know that saying "Art imitates life" and vice versa, well, to me, that song could be about anything that feels like it's got a unceasing hold of you, and perhaps is crushing you. Be it anger that turns to wrath, drugs, or even what seems like love, but it's not really love, because perhaps it's not reciprocated, so it's one way and feels like there's a boa constrictor wrapped around your heart, squeezing the life out of it with each breath you take...
