في الأساس، يشبه هذا النمط أنماط المهمات الرئيسية القائمة على إختيار الفئات، حيث يقوم فيه أربع جنود من جنود التحالف بالدفاع عن موّلد كهربائي و عليهم تدمير الفريق الخصم المتكون من
مخلوقات اللوكست. سيتم إختيار الشخصيات وفقاً لخمسة فئات من قوات التحالف الحكومي و هم: المهندس و الجنديّ و حامل القنابل اليدوية، المسعف و القناص

بينما سيمتلك اللوكاست فئاتهم الخاصة بهم، و يمكن استخدامهم اعتمادا على ما ترغب في تدميره أو على كم من النقاط التي قمت بجمعها. فعلى سبيل المثال

As we were all surprised how Gears of War matured, back at E3 2012, the fourth installment, Judgment, is bringing a whole new meaning to multiplayer action, the chaotic warfare of Overrun.

In basic, it's like a regular class-based objective game, where four COG soldier have to defend a generator and destroy the other team of Locusts. The characters will be able to pick from five COG classes: the engineer, soldier, grenadier, medic and recon.

The Locusts on the other hands have their own types, useable depending on what you want to destroy, and on how much points you gathered. For example a mauler equipped with a shield can shred through sieges, or a critter can destroy traps. Enjoy the show, and we will see you next time fellow Cogs!
