The blog entry that this video is a companion for can be found at http://wp.me/p1RWaN-86 and it talks about the recent E3 that passed from a more of a top down perspective and also addresses the recent DRM reversal of Microsoft and responds to Cliff Bleszinski point of view that it's a bad thing for the industry.

This is the first episode of Geek Bravado Ramble, a new once-in-a-while series I'm trying out where I verbalize the thought process that goes into some of the entries I make for my Geek Bravado blog. Part of the way I write on the site is not making many or any notes beforehand and trying to write the posts based on what I manage to think up in my head. These videos are me speaking out that thought process, partially to see if it helps my writing and partially to expand out some points beyond what I can reasonably fit in the blog post.

This video is not at all necessary to watch in order to appreciate the blog post. It's also long, verbose, rambly and I frequently repeat myself and reuse tired terms like "basically" and "narrative." These videos are completely unscripted so that's all kind of the point. This is definitely not for everyone but I figured it would be fun to try.

I'd love to hear what you thought of E3, what games you're excited for and if you agree with the enthusiast press narrative (did it again!) that the industry as we know it is beyond saving. Leave some comments here or on the blog itself!
