Geek Squad Sucks - My Bad Experience
Best Buy's Geek Squad at my local store did not listen to my complaints when I told them my graphics card was overheating. Instead of using some tools to check into it or having knowledge that this was a known problem for 8000 series NVidia cards, they instead ran a general diagnostics and malware scan.\n\nOver a year later I finally replaced the card after dealing with the computer blue screening again during the first few warm spring months (I keep my room temperature at around 75º F). Ever since the new MSI GTX 560 card has been installed the computer hasn't blue screened or shut off like it had been.\n\nBest Buy, I want my $150 back for the extended warranty service plan that I never received. If you're in the market don't waste your time. Save your money and if your computer breaks take it to a local shop.\n\nNotice the nvlddmkm.sys blue screen at 1:44 . That's an NVidia file giving an error. Yeah...Best Buy should have just looked at my system event log and seen this to verify I wasn't lying to them.
