The final battle against Phisto, the real mastermind behind the Earth invasion and the older sister of Eyre.

Shortly after defeating the Scrap Beast, the final guardian of Phisto's room, Gel gets absorbed by a black hole and has lost his tank shell (as well as any vehicle Gel is currently driving if he has one) as he was separated from Eyre. At the first part of the fight, Phisto attacks Gel with an unavoidable icicle attack, two flame pillars before trying to finish Gel off with lightning attacks that can be evaded.

After surviving the attacks, Eyre dives in to give Gel back his tank shell and Rita throws her multi-purpose rocket launcher into Phisto's arena to assist Gel. With the newly acquired launcher, Gel can break open Phisto's crystal shell with the Impact Cannon and counter the fire pillars and ice sickles with Freeze Cannon and Burning Cannon, respectively. If Gel has brought in a bike and he has the Powered Vehicle skill, the bike's twin vulcans can tear open Phisto's shell and destroy the flame pillars without the need of special ammo. The flame pillars can also be evaded by the invincible frames upon jumping off the bike. However, the icicles still require Burning Cannon to be destroyed.

As Gel destroys Phisto and halt her ambition for good, Eyre bids a farewell to her older sister.
