Gems of War - E12 teams (EP9) - Who needs mythics or legendaries?
0Today we have a fun, attack stat based team consisting of beloved, low mana cost yet super effective mana generator Thrall and two units from Hall of Guardians underworld faction, Gargoyle and Ethereal Sentry. The idea is to boost your hero's armor using Shield of Urskaya Sentinel class weapon, and then bump hero's attack using Ethereal Sentry. Sentry will increase ally's attack by their armor with 1:1 ratio. Downside in this case is Sentry also conjures lightstorm which only benefits Sentry himself but you give some and get some. Your main damage dealer is Gargoyle who does splash damage boosted by all allies' attack with 3:1 ratio, so you understand why we do the armor/attack increase process. Secondary damage dealer will be hero who will possess massive armor and attack stat, so skull damages will be heavy. Class with Duststorm at start is recommended, if it has barrier on browns then even better. FYI, it is worth noting that you could pass all the armor and attack boost hassle by just using Hero weapon Mang or Earth's Fury, but I decided to do this deck this way so you get some extra safety with hero's extra armor. BTW, ignore that little Bogstrider experiement in the boss fight. Bogstrider really needs Leafstorm in order to be better choice over Thrall, even tho he has that nice entangle ability when casted.
Deck mechanics:
You know the drill lol. Spam Thrall.
Cast hero to himself.
Cast Ethereal Sentry on hero.
Cast Gargoyle.
Repeat.
