Went with the normal Insect Glaive since I knew this monster would give me a hard time. So, yeah Malfestio introduces a new status, and I think it's the only monster that can inflict this...Confusion. It messes with your controls, making it harder to attack or run away...it was a pain. Also, my Kinsect was SLOW, gah!
