Biography: The barely bigger brother of Jorg Godfretdsen, Sven has meticulously cultivated himself to be the apotheosis of coolness. Designer shades and leathers, an immaculate taste in electronica, and an equally resolute stance on health and hygiene are just a few of the facets most of his colleagues take notice of. Despite this, he is perennially playing catch-up with his greasier, stockier, but ultimately more charismatic twin brother. While Jorg can easily make friends even with those he bullies on the road, it only takes a well-intentioned, but icy glare from Sven to turn most immediately off from him. Perhaps it’s more due to his social cluelessness than any external factor, but that hasn’t stopped him from lurching towards conspiratorial wondering. With a history of failed ventures and taut envy, Sven is reflexively insistent that his brother always undermines every attempt he undertakes to better himself. Had it not been for the various rivals they were up against in the Festival, the Brothers Godfretdsen would have splintered apart from the start, both determined to eclipse their sibling on the winner’s podium. Still, Sven has gotten the reputation of being the more violent of the two, perhaps one of the few points of consensus in appraisals of his performance.
