Description: A reliable heavyweight for the Rasher who likes to brawl.
My Take: Although it is extremely steady, the DMG 1000 is also extremely slow to corner. It’ll be a challenge to muscle this behemoth through some of the more intimidating hairpins on the circuit.

RASHER SPOTLIGHT

Name: Natasha Velocci-Hielo
Hometown: Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy
Weapon: Fist; Mace
Biography: The first woman to ever race in competitive MotoGP, Natasha Velocci has felt the pressure of great expectations ever since her first race at Misano. Grimacing at the prospect that her maiden season would be sponsored under a joint sponsorship with Morbidelli and Marlboro, she always considered the realm of business to be far more antagonistic than anyone in the paddock. Had it not been for the steady friendship of her teammate Sergio Hielo-Borrosa, chances were decent that Natasha would have quit the sport out of disdain of being little more than a cigarette model on two wheels. Now after more than a decade of a career dedicated to motorcycles, she could claim many things as the fruits of her labors: a respectable collection of trophies, an accelerating career in business management, and a tweenager and toddler sporting the surname “Hielo-Velocci”. Unsurprisingly, Natasha’s priorities have long since changed. Initially treating Road Rash as a way to relive her glory days and make some cold hard cash, she has grown to treat the festival with a familiar type of acrimony. The pay is decent and she gets to travel the world, but the racers have grown immeasurably seedier and greedier. To make matters worse, Sergio, in the throes of a midlife crisis, has cannonballed into a role that would have wholly revolted him just four years prior. With her husband’s disregard and the guilt of missing out on raising Sergio and Aurora corroding her, her resolve to make this Road Rash her final one has been galvanized. Underneath her friendly demeanor and insightful personality, Natasha is chomping at the bit to euthanize the farce that has become her passion, even if it means purging Sergio in the process.
