Marble Madness makes the jump to 16-bit, and apparently it did it twice for Sega's hardware? Once for Japan and once for everywhere else, so two different versions. The US one has weird noises and music, and feels okay, but not great. The JP one looks and feels more like the arcade one, and is probably the best home version to date by that point? Sure seems that way.
