Genshin Impact - Part 60 - Magic at the lantern rite
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Genshin Impact.
After a few days the next part of the lantern rite festival is finally out. We head over to Wangshu Inn to speak with Xiao. As the problems have been resolved we try to convince Xiao to come to the Lantern rite festival with us, but Xiao still refuses.
We head to the boss of Wangshu Inn and see if they have any idea on how we can change his mind. We come up with an idea of bringing the Lantern rite festival to him. We are going to decorate the Inn with Xiao lanterns and bring delouse foods for Xiao to try. The manager is on board for helping out and we look around the Inn to find the perfect spot. We find a quiet spot where we can set everything up, the manager then brings out a small and we need to make a menu of food items for Xiao to try.
We head back up to Xiao's favourite place at Wangshu inn to ask him to follow us down to the event area. Xiao agrees to come with us as the area is nice and quiet and he does not like crowded places. We all sit down and eat together, once we have finished we ask Xiao to walk us to Liyue Harbor he doesn't have to enter the city and can leave us outside. At least this way he might be able to see some of the event.
We travel straight to Liyue Harbor and say our goodbyes to Xiao at the gates. We head down to the docks to see what is happening at the event. Xiao tells us he hears all of the wishes carried by the lanterns. Everything is together for the big even and Liyue looks beautiful. Everyone in the city gathers at night and the main event starts. This event is so magical and gave me goose bumps to watch for the first time. We see all the hard work come together as lanterns fly high over Liyue. We can see that Xiao also sticks around for the event even if he is away from people. This concludes the Lantern rite festival main story line, but we do have a few smaller quests to complete. We set out on an adventure to complete the final tasks for this event.
