Haven - Part 15 - Was Kay born on Source?
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Haven on the Xbox series X.
We continue looking for the main flow bridge that brought us to this island. To get to it we will need to fix up the nest fully and hopefully get it working again.
We head into areas that are filled with rush and corrupted monsters, even the Apiary send more of the robots to the island to defeat us. We have took a real beaten after all of these fights so we head to a camp near by to heal up and also spend some time together.
Whilst at the camp Yu brings up that Kay's necklace opened the door on one of the islands. Kay has no idea how he got the necklace of who gave it to him. Yu thinks that Kays parents might have been born on Source and he parents might not have been evacuated in time. This would explain why Kay was put into a home and was told his parents abandoned him.
We head back to the nest and see that the rust has gotten to Oink, we will have to fight him to remove the rush and bring Oink back to us. After defeating Oink and bringing him back Kay notices that Oink has something in its mouth. Oink has brought us a piece of hyper rust. Even though Oink knew it might be corrupted from the rush Oink still wanted to help.
Once back in the nest we are able to make the upgraded gloves with the hyper rust that Oink has brought us. Kay and Yu have the equipment to potentially cut of the flow bridge, but have to decided if they are both happy to cut of the bridge. This would mean they will never be able to return home. The two still agree to go through with everything.
We have the final few parts that we need to find and collect for the nest, then we will be able to fly up to the flow bridge and use the new enhanced glove to cut it off. Check back next time to see what happens next for Yu and Kay.
