I don't know why but I kept feeling this discomfort while playing through this quest, especially during the middle portion with the ghosts. After thinking about it a little it might be because I felt like I was intruding into the lives of those who have already perished. This isn't the first time this has happened like with other ghosts but they've been pulled straight from just before their lives ended into the future where they do not belong. This entire story was deeply personal to Ei, which might have added to that feeling of something private and shouldn't be intruded upon by outsiders like the Traveler and us. I don't know, just wanted to vent here. The story's theme was constant and it left many questions unanswered, but that feeling I had was at the forefront the entire time and it was probably noticeable during my commentary so I had to address it, at least in part(?), in one long rant here.
