First and foremost I would like to say: Yes, I am a nerd and yes, I am very passionate about writing. I spent tens of thousands of dollars to spend 4 years talking about this stuff and am going to be spending more to add at least another year on top of that.
Just be glad I haven't found an excuse to rant about Shakespeare yet (unless you'd all be interested in that?)
Anyways, here is my take on how MiHoyo is using the Silent Protagonist Trope to pull in an unreliable narrator. And Ooooooh boy am I excited. It's so cool to see how players can form their own identities as the traveler while also slowly discovering the truth about who they really are! And the way they are handling the flow of information is just amazing.
So...yeah, this is less of a theory and more of a rant but I couldn't not talk about it.
