Geo Mythica - Playthrough Part 1 (Hard Mode)
42A playthrough of Geo Mythica on hard difficulty, where you're kids out to stop a mega corporation from assembling an orb that makes your imagination reality. Assemble an unusual crew that consists of a cat ninja, secret agent dog, and British half-dragon as you explore the world for said fragments.
Overall this is a pretty neat RPG (kind of more action RPG that has some Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger vibes) made in an NES style and has some pretty engaging gameplay. Each character has their own distinct skills (which can be boosted with talents and builds can be altered on the fly) with magic being able to be swapped around to different characters as needed. The story is in the style of 90s cartoons so it kind of shifts between serious and silly (which isn't quite my cup of tea but it's alright).
Hard mode doubles all damage enemies do which means interrupting attacks and using crowd control is even more essential as it's very easy for attacks to 1-shot characters or your entire party. Interestingly, this is a game where crowd control abilities work 100% of the time on any enemy (including bosses) which can allow for some cheese strategies with certain fights. The distinct currencies makes sense but honestly I would just look for the cat in each zone to trade imagidust for whatever currency I needed rather than use the banks. There's some extra dungeons (one of which disables magic which required some grinding to be strong to beat the boss) and side quests to also check out.
