George Lucas talks Star Wars in 3D and about that TV Series! We've got the scoop coming up next

Hey I'm Andrea Feczko for Clevver Movies.

George Lucas sat down with G4's Attack of the Show and got honest about all those open ended Star Wars questions.

Lucas promises Star Wars: Episode 1 -- The Phantom Menace is going to be better in 3D than all the other recently converted films. Citing that not only does he have the best technical experts in the game, they also have been with Lucas during the original filming- so all the guess work on actor placements and lighting is gone. He also says it won't be an in your face 3D, but a subtle difference that he equates to the experience from black and white to color film.

And then there's the long overdue TV series that is, unfortunately, suspended indefinitely. Lucas says its still too expensive to get a Star Wars look for a small TV budget. But, he promises, once they figure out how to get a cheaper CG technology, it will cut feature film budgets into a fraction of the cost- which means cheaper movie tickets for us!

Now, we just have to sit and wait until technology catches up to George Lucas.
