German Leopard 2 tanks have conducted their largest live firing exercise yet on Britain’s Sennelager Ranges.

It follows an agreement between the two countries which now guarantees the Bundeswehr time on the area for at least 10 weeks a year.

Opening up the ranges has increased opportunities for the locally-based German 203 Panzer Battalion to train closer to home.
