The way this wad is set up, UV is actually the normal spawn filter and Masochist is the hard spawn filter, aka Ultra Violence. Meaning, because Doom Incarnate's skill settings always use the hard spawn filter, playing it with this wad is the same as picking the masochist setting. That's why I chose a lower difficulty than usual.
I tried this prior, using the same difficulty, only with corruption cards as well. At the red key fight on map02 (10:50) I got creamed. Almost threw in the towel. I didn't think I could get through this wad. As you'll see, even with all the sacrifices, it's still a challenge.
Picking up the rune of vitality near the end broke something and my health stopped dropping, making the rest far easier than it normally would be. I removed it from the spawn list for now.
This wad is very hard, almost sadistically so. I tried to do a second video but even on my lowest difficulty setting I got my ass handed to me. Good luck to anyone who attempts this.
