Its design is familiar if you use Google+ or YouTube's mobile app.
One of the best features is the 'dark mode', allowing you to watch videos at night without a glaring bright website. It's also good if you want less distractions as you can focus more on the video.
Changing to the beta design isn't permanent. I'll show you how to revert your changes so you can go back to the normal YouTube layout.
