Right after the events of the assassination at the hands of the nationalist youth party, the country is pretty much in turmoil, with riots and fights between the Communists and Nationalists escalating all around the country. To make matters worse, our expansionist neighbours in the North seems to be getting a bit too handsy with our territory, so we're technically in fights from inside and outside the border!

The leader of the Oligarchs reached out to me asking me to choose his construction company for the highway I plan on building in the Northern regions, with a big fat check that is worth a lot of money. I turned him down though because I'm trying to be a good and clean leader for the country. I did however choose his company in the end, because it would be good to not anger them, or risk losing power in the country. I also had a meeting with the head of a huge media conglomerate, who promised to help with the media if/when a scandal hits in exchange for a favour. I turned him down too.

At the end of the episode, I attended the funeral of the assassinated MP, to pay my respects as well as send a message of unity and peace, which seems to have gone well with the people, though the media, as usual, have a way of turning things around! Check out part 3 of my Suzerain Gameplay!
