I feel kind of bad about these ones, that first match put me in a bad mood for the others. Did some tests on my other avatar, I don't think the problem with the lag is on my end, but I'm sorry that it happened.

Lessons for today, when facing an army like that, don't get too agitated and make mistakes. Your opponent is giving you as much time as you need to plan each step of the way, so use it. Sacrifice units as they stop having use within your army, and protect the ones that still counter your opponent. For example, my bows all died after his bow cav was gone because I didn't need them anymore. I made sure he couldn't shoot my naginata samurai, because his heavy hitting melee cavalry was still alive, and my gun cav were crucial in the event that he tried to delay the inevitable by running around in circles like he was about to. Sword units were simply to blunt charges and lock up enemy units.

Game 2, I am still uncertain on my stance to the mangonels. I don't think anyone has major problems facing them anymore, and they really don't provide much benefit to an army, so I don't really feel bad having used it. Either way, what my opponent should have done is moved his units all sort of just into his bow range, shot down whatever he could from my army, and really work hard to preserve his only mobility from those gun cav.

Game three, I get the feeling he wasn't used to facing a traditional army that knows how to make an attack against a gun line, it didn't seem to me that he was prepared to counter my attack and just let me roll over him. When using the modern army, preserving mobility, using that carbine cavalry to really control the field and just getting those kills at range is really important.
