If you are here it's because you are having trouble getting to the boss or killing the boss. All advice contained within is for folks like me who struggled to even get to Hiisi base at 200 hours of gameplay. Feel free to post helpful comments for those people. Posting out 'mistakes' may not be as helpful as some of these mistakes are just me setting up situations to demonstrate (the opening scene w the boss fight is intentionally odd).

The video goes over the basics, then shows the boss kill, followed by the full run with some small edits and lots of fast forward. For those who want a quick sheet, here's the list of the 9 tips for player struggling to get over the hump and get that first win after many hours of suffering.

These are generic rules to live by, not builds and stats.

1. Avoid Danger - no need to risk health, there are no heals
2. Don't chase gold - gold will pile up easy over time
3. Patience - Faster = Deader. Don't rush into new areas. Have safe, clear fall back position
4. Dig Around - skip/rush past all biomes except Coal Pits for gold and Jungle
5. Information is you best weapon
5a. Watch streamers and youtube
5b. Learn Perk System including their hidden stats
5c. Learn the best spells and combos and basic wand mechanics
5d. Learn every easy Kolmi kill (zero orb)
The most important for me was learning to be patient!
