3Hello, Everyone! I am Josh, AKA The Biscuit Eater! Welcome to the twenty-eighth episode of my First Impressions Let's Play of "Earthbound".
Come! Sit with me and watch while I take you through a full-completion play-through of the game, with as few jump-cuts and time edits as humanly possible. In this play-through, you get to see a first-time run-through of the game, my first experience, and all the foibles and frustrations that are bound to come as a result.
The game is an older one, first released in 1994 as Mother 2 in Japan, Earthbound in the States, and is technically the second in a series of three video games, but also the one most well known in the States. It's a standard top-down JRPG that has developed quite the cult following in the last 20+ years.
It is a story about prophesy, oddity, and absurdity, and should be very, very fun. And somehow I've never played it until now.
