Gex 3D: Enter the Gecko - PS1 - Intro and Title Screen (PAL Voiceover)
49The intro movie and title screen to Gex 3D: Enter the Gecko. This early 3D platformer was developed by Crystal Dynamics and released in Feb 98. It's the direct sequel to the original 2D platformer Gex. It's basically a collect-a-thon but has lots of varied themed levels and bonus stages. I only beat this recently and it's definitely one of the best 3D platformers I've played on PS1. It is however severely let down by an awful camera that makes some parts a lot more frustrating than necessary. If this was remastered like the Crash games and included proper camera control it would be amazing, here's hoping one day.
Anyway, this will be a blind 100% run, so every remote (the main collectible in the game) will be found. It's also the PAL version with Leslie Philips voicing Gex instead of Dana Gould, so a lot of the one liners are localised for a British audience. A 90s British audience as a lot of the references are really dated now, which kind of adds to the charm.
