Gex 3 Request Playthrough | Part 1: Time to Get Totally Scrooged

Two Gex games down, only one to go. And now we take on the last of the original trilogy, Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko.
This game was released on the PS1, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color in 1999. Europe wouldn't get the N64 version until 2000. The story this time is that Gex's partner & love interest, Agent Xtra (played by Marliece Andrada) has gone missing. To make matters worse, Gex learns that Rez has returned. He's out for revenge. He kidnaps Agent Xtra as a means of getting to Gex. So now Gex must travel to new areas, stop Rez and rescue Agent Xtra. That's pretty much it.
The game plays similarly to the previous game. However, this time let's just say that getting 100% is going to be an even bigger challenge. In every area, you need to find 100 flies. Getting them will get you a Remote and there are four in each area. In the hub worlds there's only one and that's by getting 100 flies. Notice the similarities? This game also introduces us to new characters such as Gex's butler Alfred the Tortoise. Agent Xtra appears as well, and Gex will befriend two new characters: Rex & Gex's cousin Cuz.
For this, we focus on two areas; the training grounds where you have to learn the controls again and Totally Scrooged. It ain't a game without a winter level and it's the first one. Yikes.
