Ghost Knight Demo - A Ghosts n' Goblins Style Platformer Stopping a Mad King From Raising the Dead!
21A playthrough of the demo for Ghost Knight: A Dark Tale where you're a ghost haunting a suit of armor and the dead are rising due to a mad king seeking immortality through rituals that will definitely bring down the property values of the kingdom (except maybe for necromancers wanting to find a nice crypt with a short commute).
Having to pay for the checkpoints really seems excessive since it's from the same currency you heal with (and I managed to get killed on the boss so not being able to afford the checkpoint before it meant re-doing a lot more of the level than I'd have liked). It really does capture that SNES Ghosts n' Goblins vibe with the double jump (and often panic double jumping to correct your momentum) along with having an air dash from the get-go. Plus knockback from being hit often means you'll fall into instant death acid. There is an easy mode but I didn't give that a go.
Overall it does look pretty promising.
