A somewhat quick playthrough of The Shadow King, a Pico-8 game made by Johan Peitz (who also made Hellgineers). In this short mini-game you explore a castle to find the tools to confront and defeat the shadow king.

A normal playthrough will likely be 30-40 minutes. The rooms I didn't explore have max HP upgrades (capping at 7 seven hearts) but they really aren't needed. Definitely could have sped up this run by making less mistakes.

It's a fun little game but YMMV if it's worth the $6 price tag.
