Paula Madera is finally willing to cooperate with Jace Skell. Nomad and Fury travel down to the South Cape Station in the Windy Islands province to retrieve her. As we are getting ready to leave, Haruhi Ito barges in to question why Madera would leave back to Skell, though Madera reminds her that she killed 30 people. Haruhi argues that Skell is a monster and can't be trusted, but Madera asks what she is in turn. Haruhi replies that she does what is necessary to fight Sentinel. Madera says she is free to choose her own battles and prepare to leave. Haruhi says that Sentinel has 3 of Madera's batteries in their possession and that they can be placed into small drones capable of creating large-scale destruction. Haruhi pleads with Madera to stay to solve the problem, but Nomad argues that he can deal with the explosives right now. Madera wants to join Nomad in destroying the cells and the energy cell schematics.

We take off in a helicopter with rocket launchers from the Outcast camp. On our way to the explosive devices, Nomad explains to Paula that he is part of a unit that crashed on the island thanks to the drones and that he knew Walker a long time ago and asks Madera if he is going to be alright with Skell. Madera is unsure. When Nomad reaches the Emelius Port in the Seal Islands province, he uses the rocket launchers equipped on the helicopter to destroy the red crate containing Madera's energy cells. Nomad is able to take off before a patrol of Sentinel helicopters catch up. Nomad now travels to the Cold War Fuel Storage depot in the Channels province and blows up the second red crate. After taking off, Nomad has no choice but to rid of the trail of choppers behind them. The third destination is Assembly Hall Omega 02 in the Restricted Area 01 province where Nomad destroys the third and final red explosive crate. Again, Madera has to destroy the helicopters on their trail. While in the helicopter, Madera gives Nomad the location where the energy cell schematics are being stored. Nomad travels to the Red Weasel Outpost in the Good Hope Mountain province. Nomad asks Madera if she is sure that she wants the schematics to be destroyed and if they can be used for good intentions. Madera says she's too afraid with them in Sentinel's hands. Nomad reaches the schematics' location and destroys them. Now that the servers are destroyed, Nomad escorts Madera to Erewhon in the helicopter, but not before making sure no helicopters are left following behind them.

At Erewhon, Skell is glad to see Paula. She asks why Skell didn't tell her that he was helping her husband. Skell didn't want to say anything in case they didn't get results with the cure research. Madera thanked Nomad for saving her life. Skell and Madera start working on the virus.
