In the beta version of this cutscene, Winston was supposed to go help Ray after he got possessed by a Possessor Ghost. However, in the final game, Winston asks Dr. Rutherford over the walkie-talkie to help Ray, and Winston travels through the Museum of Natural History with Venkman and the Rookie. The most likely reason this was changed was because Bill Murray did not record everything. When datamining the game, I found there were many instances when Venkman did not respond to dialogue directed at him. Two remnants of this change appear in the final product. When Ray gets to the security office, he says "We" made it to the security office. And in the part where Venkman looks at the painting, Winston is not in the background, but the Rookie is.
