Based on the coin-op arcade game by Capcom, Software Creations produced this C64 version and received much acclaim for the end result.

On a personal level, of all the licensed games that Software Creations produced, this is my least favourite. It's not a bad game by any means, but like the game on which it is based, some of the levels are too difficult and just ended up being more a chore than fun to play.

The game certainly packs in a lot of the features from the arcade, including multiple weapons, super armour and a decent number of levels. However, this came at the expense of an obnoxious multi-load on the tape version of the game (which I had), so I didn't play it much.

Tim Follin does a great job with the music, especially the wind and rain effects in the title music.

There isn't much more that can be said about the game; decent enough, but I don't think it deserved the 96% that Zzap 64 gave it.
