After arriving at Planet Quartu, Ratchet & Clank head on over to the robotic enlargement pad where one of the scientists is attempting to destroy it because of Drek's plans to use the Mechs he created to carry out his wily plans. Clank uses the enlargement pad to destroy the mechs and the duo were awarded with a Infobot containing the co-ordinates to Gadgetron HQ where Ratchet can get a Hologuise. After blasting off on their way to Gadgetron, Drek is now starting to get annoyed by the heroes not being stopped in their tracks and sends in his elite troops to stop them and destroy Gadgetron. Ratchet & Clank arrive to see that Drek's invasion has gone underway and now they have to fight them in order to protect the corporation. Ratchet & Clank then see the CEO about the invasion and are offered a chance to advertise the newest line of Gadgetron Hoverboards. After Ratchet wins the Hoverboard race, the Lombax doesn't do a good job, but is offered a Hologuise for winning the race and thwarting Drek again. Next time, the duo find out what Drek is about to do.
