5After finding out about the Planetbuster Maximus, Ratchet & Clank pledge to stop the Blarg plans to destroy Hoven before the ship carrying the bomb leaves for the planet's orbit. After a lengthy trek through the Blargian forces and using an old defence turret to stop the Planetbuster Maximus, the duo stop the Blarg's plans for now, but get news about Drek invading Gorda City in Planet Oltanis from the Blarg's new moon base (known as Gemlik Base). Ratchet wants to get to the moon base to find Captain Qwark, but Clank argues that they have to get to the mood base to stop Drek's plans. However after a bit of a comedic exchange, both agree to head on over to Gemlik Base anyway. Also in his part, Ratchet fixes a miner's drill after he broke it trying to break a piece of Raritanium and gives it to Ratchet anyway and Edwina from her Roboshack fixes up Clank with a Hydropack (for faster swimming). Afterwards, Ratchet & Clank go back to Pokitaru to give the Raritanium for the Persuader, then prove to Skidd McMarx's agent that they won the Hoverboard Race from Blackwater City in Aridia and then shot down the Blarg battleships in Batalia thanks to their friend, the Plumber. Next time, it's about to get serious!
