Gino D’Acampo left his fans and followers in hysterics after sharing a hilarious yet incredibly rude video of his dog Snoop and an Olaf toy. The Sausage dog can be seen amorously humping the Frozen character toy.
The celebrity chef uploaded the short video to his Instagram page, captioning the post: “ To all my friends at @disney … I am so sorry but this guy is just out of control @iamsnoopdacampo….GDx”
His post racked up over 25,763 likes, a whopping 858,000 views and thousands of comments. The food blogging account Only Scrans wrote in the replies: “I’ve been impaled.”
Gino’s son Luciano simply shared several laughing-crying faces, which many followers also did. A fair few also shared that Snoop’s actions reminded them of their own dogs.
One person asked: “What is it about dogs and Olaf toys?”
Another joked: “Who has he been watching?”
Some felt sorry for the Olaf toy, but the majority saw the funny side of the situation, as another follower wrote: “Olaf doesn’t seem to mind!”
The chef has recently been promoting his TV show and new cookbook, called Gino’s Italy and Gino’s Italy: Like Mamma Used to Make. He’s been exploring all throughout his home country, visiting legends of local regions for a masterclass in some proper Italian food.
At the end of August, he revealed his surprising choice for his favourite British dish. Speaking ahead of Gino’s Italy release, he revealed his favourite Sardinian dish to make was porchetta al forn, and said: "The pork in Sardinia is delicious – and my family love it on a special occasion."
Gino said the one food he couldn’t live without when in Italy is no big, traditional dish, but rather a packet of crisps. Gino said: "Love of Wotsits is well documented! I do like Wotsits, but after a while, I do miss a proper fish and chips."
