Gintama Rumble - Kagura Gameplay
88Next up is Kagura! She is one of my favorite characters to play and mainly because she has some of the most dynamic combat capabilities of all characters. She is considered a combo and air based fighter. Her Square string is the longest in the game, she has jump and guard cancel, along with the longest air string in the game as well. Her hold square is a projectile into a a spinning axe drop kick. It does good damage with a ranged start and sets them up for any follow up leaving the enemy right in front of you. Her hold triangle skill is a series of attacks that launch into the air where you can get the axe kick finisher or cancel into air strings. A really strong move with a lot of flexible routes within it. Her Triangle is a evasive back flip kick with an umbrella shot finsher. This is sort of a finisher type move or a get out of trouble move as it knocks the enemy far away that makes it hard to follow after. Her L1+S skill is a really powerful close range attack. Good for when you need a high powered damage option.
As I mentioned, Kagura is very blessed in terms of combat mechanics and options making her one of the most fun for anyone who wants a character with a lot of cancels and flexibility in combat. Extremely fun character!
